That IKE Tree!

That tree that split and hit our house during IKE is....DOWN!!!

Here it is after the storms this weekend! Yea, not on our house or the neighbors! I'm so glad it is down. I was getting worried about it especially with hurricane season coming! But no more Worries!

Sleep Over

Yep, Tyler and Ava had their first sleep over... with themselves! They fell asleep about 9:15 and Ava came to our bed about 12:00am and Tyler came in our bed about 2:30. Not bad for a first attempt. No crying and no calling parents to drop off their child in the middle of the night!

And yes Ava is not wearing a shirt, she wanted to sleep like Tyler does without a shirt! Looks so comfortable!!! Can't wait until next Saturday!

When Does It END!

Meet Ava's newest friends!
Ava went to a birthday party a couple of weeks ago at her favorite place, Build-A-Bear! The girls could pick any animal they wanted! Ava picked this beautiful pink bear! Meet Flower! Yesterday Ava spent some of her gift card left over from her birthday present from Grandma and Papa and bought a cute litte white seal. She named her Snowflake!

Here's Tyler with his one and only Build-A-Bear, Diny!

Here they all are: Pinky, Blue-e, Sweety, Koala-e, Stripes, Sparkles, Flower, Lamb-e, and Snowflake!

Happy Easter!

We had a weekend full of Egg decorating, Church, and searching for eggs. The kids were a little disappointed that the eggs only had money but then realized it was MONEY! It was a raining Easter day so we went out to lunch and went to Walmart to spend the gift card Mimi and GrandBob sent the kids. We bought the movie Bolt. They love this movie so Thank you for the Gift Card!

Happy 6th Birthday Tyler!

Tyler's Birthday was April 7. I'm a little behind in posting so here are some pictures from the day. Tyler's friend, Katelyn came to school and ate lunch with him. She will be in kindergarten next year so it was good practice for her.

We brought Tyler McDonalds and cookies to pass out to his class.
Presents!!!

Tyler got a clock for his bedroom. But he wants one with the numbers not the hands!

Some more Mario clothes and toys!

A DS game and a WII game. Yes the WII game is used but he loves it and didn't even notice. Check out his new watch which is already broken though!

Can't believe he is 6 and almost done with Kindergarten!

Pictures with Grandma and Papa

We had a great time with Grandma and Papa. We miss them so much already!

Grandma and Papa got me this fishing vest and hat for my birthday. I love it!

Lunch at school with Grandma and Papa! What a great surprise!

At the soccer game! Yes, it was pretty cold and Ava's is in there!

A SUPER Mario and Princess Peach Birthday Party

What a day! The big Super Mario and Princess Peach Party was here. Jeff and I had spent hours getting ready and were thrilled my parents were here to help with the finishing touches! Everything was going as planned. I had moved everything we needed into the office so we wouldn't forget anything. First, we had a soccer game to go to and then back home to set up for the party. Well, while we were gone, Pickles had a blast going thru all the eggs, 260 of them, looking for chocolate. She managed to eat 40 chocolate bars. She had eggs all over. She did not open the ones with the coins or stickers in. I was in shock and forgot to take a picture! After the clean up we were back on schedule!

When the children arrived they were able to decorate a princess crown or put a mario hat on with a mustache.

All the activities:
Princess Peaches' Treasure Hunt: the kids went looking for easter eggs filled with candy, coins and stickers. The eggs with smiley faces won a prize.

Yoshi's Egg Throw: all the kids got an emptied egg and threw it at Yoshi. The egg filled with gold stars won!

Mario's Dance Off: the kids did a dance off. When the music stopped they had to freeze or leave the game.

Next, was singing Happy Birthday and eating hot dogs, cheese balls, and the 1 up Mushroom Cupcakes.

Balloon Pop: all the kids got a balloon and sat on it to pop it. They were filled with gold coins. The most gold coins won.

Pin the Crown on Princess Peach and Pin the Mustache on Mario: closest wins a prize.

Last but not Least the Pinata!

Wow, what a day. Check out the slideshow for all the pictures. Thanks Alisha for taking all of them for us.
